Wednesday the 19th of April saw Spirit return to Nelson for the fist time this year. A really rollie morning saw primary school children enjoying the waves wash over the decks, and left crew either a little worried or feeling green. This saw the afternoon sail cancelled for the only the second time ever in Nelson (cyclone Dreena last time). Voyagers stayed onboard and showed the would-be passengers around.Here is just a few photos taken of Spirit during the day.

Northland Voyagers had a great day out on the water filming for the Marine Research Project on Sunday! Beautiful weather and a calm day made it all to easy - although the current was rather strong and the stand tipped over during the final filming!! They were filming at Roetahi Bay and completed four drops, two inside the supposed marine park and two outside it. Big thanks to DoC for helping out with providing the boat.
