Up and Coming Activities!!!
Hey Everyone!
Just thought I'd let you all know about the up and coming events the club has planned for this year.
On the weekend of the 26th there will be a bake sale in Auckland and Christchurch, which will be fundraising for the club. The venues are yet to be confirmed, but feel free to chip in with any sort of baking you like.
So if your in Auckland or Christchurch, or remotely near there, get involved. The more we make on this, the more fun activities we can organise for you.
We are looking at the possiblitiy of having a dress up, themed, halloween party this year on Friday the 31st of October. This is currently just in the idea stage, however, the more feedback we get on wether you think this is a good idea, and where you think it should be, the more likely it is to happen. It'd be a great way to celebrate the spookiest night of the year with fellow voyagers.
We are going to do a Secret Santa this year, and all registration for it will need to be sent to me by the 30th of November (email me at president@voyagers.org.nz if you want to participate) All items bought for you recipient must be 5$ or less, and posted by the 16th of December. this way everyone will get them just in time for Christmas!!!

Also, In June (this month!) there is going to be a pizza night in each of the active regions. I believe that for the most part, each active region will be supplying the pizza for the night, so there won't be any cost involved. Please get in touch with either Xinran (for the north Island) northerncontact@voyagers.org.nz or Claire (if you live in the South Island) Southerncontact@voyagers.org.nz or your local AC who will have plenty of information on the topic. If you do not know who your AC is email Claire or Xinran to find out.
Other Activities are currently being planned, and you will be updated when we know more.
I hope you are all enjoying this year..

Update
Recently the new committee published their first newsletter, (we were trying to compete with the last committee to have one out faster
) and I’m very pleased to say we succeeded. We were slightly over one month into our term, a good challenge for the next committee. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all those who helped with the newsletter, it couldn’t have been done without you.
We still have some awesome t-shirts and postcards for sale, which look awesome, and are a great thing to have to show your support for the club
Also, there are some MALE leading hand vacencies on the below trips. It’s an awesome experience, for both you and the trainee’s, and only you can make it happen.
voyage 524A 5 Day Trophy 29 May-2 June- Needs a Male Leading Hand Urgent!!!
Voyage 525 2-12 June Needs Male and Female leading Hand Urgent!!!
Voyage 526 12-22 June Needs Male Leading Hand
